Rosemarie Gergen

Rosemarie Gergen, born in 1957, passed her tax consultant examination in 1986 and her exam for being a Certified Public Accountant in 1991.

She was a partner in the SINGHOFEN&GERGEN Partnership from 1989 until December 31, 2023.

The focus of her occupation is the audit/preparation of annual accounts and the interdisciplinary consulting of companies. This covers – besides the tax advisory services – especially consultation in context with the restructuring of companies, M&A, advice on legal structuring of companies and the procedure with insolvency plans.

The emphasis in the sector is on industrial companies, estate companies, wholesale and retail companies, as well as public owned and other non-profit companies.

Rosemarie Gergen is as a longtime member of the executive and supervisory board of the “Institut der Wirtschaftsprüfer in Deutschland eV (IDW)”. The German standard setter for Certified Public Accountants and accordingly involved in changes of the profession, financial reporting and auditing standards.

In October 2015 she was elected as chairwomen of the supervisory board of the IDW.
